The PVS-7 is renowned for its unmatched reliability and ergonomic design, making it a U.S. Military-grade night vision goggle system trusted in combat. As the top AN/PVS-7 B/D system on the market, it can be equipped with high-performance Gen 2+ or Gen 3 image intensifier tubes, available in either green phosphor or P45 white phosphor. The PVS-7 features Automatic Brightness Control (ABC) to automatically adjust image brightness in varying light conditions, ensuring clear and defined visuals.
A built-in infrared illuminator provides an invisible light source, allowing the user to operate in total darkness without detection. It also includes a bright light cut-off to safeguard the image tube from intense light exposure and a flip-up shut-off feature for use with the optional helmet mount system. The eyepiece has two LED indicators to signal when the IR illuminator is active and when the battery is low.
Lightweight, durable, and adaptable, the PVS-7 can be used handheld or mounted on the head or helmet. It is also compatible with afocal magnifier lenses for enhanced long-distance viewing.
